Support Worker / HCA

Standby Healthcare are looking for experienced Young Person's Support Workers to join our clients team! Our client prides itself on providing their services users with bespoke care tailored to their needs. It is important you have experience working with service users who have a range of complex needs such as Autism as each service user is different!

Personal care is a duty of this role as some of the residents have limited ability so please only apply if you are comfortable and confident with this aspect of the role.

As an agency member of staff, you will have flexibility in choosing the shifts you want to work, while also having the option of undergoing a temp-to-perm.

As part of the staffing team, you will work alongside other collaborative and enthusiastic Young Person's Support Workers. The successful candidate will work with the wider team to safeguard the young people from harm. Collaborative working is encouraged to ensure the service users are cared for in every aspect of their lives. This includes companionship, guidance, travel planning and aiding growth in key life skills. Taking full responsibility of this role will allow for creative working and exciting events for the young people.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months experience working within a care setting in the UK.
• A valid DBS or the willing to complete one.
