Standby Healthcare is working with an established leading provider of residential care for children and young people.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join our team who is dedicated to improving the lives of young people. To be successful in this role, you must safeguard and promote the welfare of residents. Having experience managing a team is beneficial, allowing you to grow the strengths of the team available to you. Experience working in this area with knowledge of related legislation, policies and procedures is essential.

As the Registered Manager, you will be the liaison between local authorities, schools, health and other professional bodies for the young people. You will work alongside associated teams to develop and implement support plans, ensuring the staff team follows them appropriately. The successful candidate will have the responsibilities of:


Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Allocating and supporting key workers to each young person.

· Establish and monitor high standards of care/support.

· Develop comprehensive care plans.

· Be responsible for handling and progressing issues/complaints.

· Work alongside parents, guardians and professional bodies.

· Monitor high-quality care standards in line with National Minimum Standards.

· Develop a great team by ensuring the right people are hired ensuring staff retention.


To be considered for an interview, you must have:

· Level 5 in Leadership and Management Is essential.

· UK Driving Licence.

· Knowledge of National Minimum Standards.

· 2 years’ experience at a Senior/Management level within residential care.

Must have full rights to work in the UK - Sponsorship is not available.
