Here at Standby Healthcare we are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team to support one of the many care homes we supply to on a regular basis.

Our client delivers a wide range of care including residential, nursing, dementia, stroke and palliative 24-hour specialist care. This client is a sector leader with a fantastic reputation and high ratings from the industry regulator CQC. We are looking for staff to cover a range of shifts, including days and nights. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6-month experience in healthcare in the UK with all relevant training and documentation to go alongside it, as well as a UK driver’s license. What you need to have to apply:

· Minimum 6 months experience in the UK healthcare sector

· Ability to complete or provide a DBS

· Relevant experience or NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)
  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
