Nurse Qualified Registered Manager

Standby Healthcare is working with an established, award-winning provider of residential and nursing care homes for the elderly.
We are looking for an experienced Nurse Qualified Registered Manager to join an established team within a large nursing care home with a CQC good rating.

*This role requires candidates to participate in shift and weekend work.
*Candidates must have a legal right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this role.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Management of all staff, ensuring the home operates effectively whilst delivering an excellent quality of care.
· Encouraging staff to continuously review skills and knowledge whilst providing regular training and development.
· Ensuring CQC and all other regulations are always followed.
· Medication management.
· Continuously striving to improve the service and enhance the lives of all residents.
· Conducting regular appraisals with staff and assisting with the recruitment process for new staff.
· Managing external partners.
· Financial control and commercial awareness.
· Supporting the families of residents.
The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:
· Be a Registered Nurse and hold an active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) certificate and PIN.
· Have a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
· A strong knowledge of CQC and all other regulations.
· NVQ level 5 in leadership and management.
· Strong management skills and the ability to effectively lead multiple teams.
· The ability to implement change where necessary.
· Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and management of external partners.
· Strong commercial awareness.
